Privacy-First Approach: TrueHue is designed with privacy at its core. For shoppers, all display calibration settings are stored locally in your browser only—we never collect, store, or transmit your calibration data or any personally identifiable information. For merchants, we collect only the minimum business information necessary to provide our service.

Active Accounts: We retain merchant business information and anonymous usage analytics as long as TrueHue is installed on your Shopify store.
Upon Uninstallation: When you uninstall TrueHue, all your merchant business information and all associated anonymous usage analytics are automatically deleted from our systems. We also respond to Shopify's GDPR webhooks (shop/redact) to ensure complete data removal.
Shopper Data: Your calibration settings are stored in your browser's localStorage indefinitely until you clear your browser data, delete localStorage, or uninstall/reset your browser. Since we do not store your calibration data on our servers, we cannot delete it for you—you have full control through your browser settings.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:
For shoppers, your calibration settings are protected by your browser's built-in security features. Since your calibration data never leaves your device, it is not subject to network-based security risks.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
For Shoppers: Since we do not collect or store any of your personal data on our servers (all calibration settings are in your browser only), there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. You have full control over your calibration data through your browser settings.

TrueHue does not use cookies or tracking technologies for shoppers. Your calibration settings are stored in browser localStorage, which is not a cookie and does not track you across websites.
